And when the battery is done it is instant, no warning like slow cranking.

sounds like you need far more of a backup plan than collecting all your hopes and dreams into one singular battery... if i was in that situation, at a minimum, a jump pack and dual battery setup, likely a solar charger as well.

I paid $6,700 for a 1992 Toyota Pickup Truck at a dealer with 16 miles on it....
Drove for years up to 199,999 miles and sold it for a song.

$16,000 for a new 2004 Corolla with 20 miles on it still on the road.
$10,000 for a used 2003 Corolla with 10,000 miles on it that is still on the road.

Had a good time at the Mustang Ranch for $60.00 one time too LOL..... long gone days.

My youngest daughter's battery went out today...my SIL said it was about 4 years since he had it in the GTI.

Daughter had said she noticed it cranked slower than usual...and was slow to react to key turning.

Of course, she paid no mind to it since she had a lot on her mind...like getting to our home. lol

So, then she said, "How long have you had your battery, Dad?"

I was like...I celebrated 4yrs of ownership last Wednesday the 14th.

If I notice any peculiar start ups, I will look to get a new battery.
