    Hello Tacoma World,

So here is my own personal battery light issue. I've read through a lot of posts related to what I'm asking but I didn't see one specifically answering my question.

I have an 06 Tacoma and never had any issues before with batteries or alternator. Back in July-August my battery light came on and after reading through the forms I went ahead and replaced my alternator with a new one from Napa and a new battery as well. Starting yesterday my light has come back on. It's not an every time I start the truck either. Yesterday morning it was on but in the evening after work when I started it the light was off. Today in the afternoon I started it and it was off but after 15 mins of the truck being off while I was at the park with my dogs when I started the truck the light was on and stayed on all the way home. My question is what could be causing this? Did I get a bad alternator or battery or should I possibly get new wiring for the battery to alternator? A bad grounding wire? I'm at a loss here and any help would be appreciated.

I would check all the wires first, there may be some corrosion on one or there may even be a loose wire.
