    Ah, I missed that post. It's called contact resistance and the higher the current the more the voltage will sag from it. Finger tight isn't quite good enough. All mechanical connections have a little resistance, switches, relays, spade and bullet connectors, bolt on terminals too, even the various bolted connections between frame members which are susceptible to corrosion. Glad you found the problem and that it was an easy fix.

    Pretty much stock right now
    Even though I don't alway follow this advice myself, I always tell people to check the easy stuff first. I've had my share of bad contact on batteries and starters, corrosion inside battery leads, etc., and didn't alway take the shortest path to fix it.

    Overlooking the obvious is common for me because I usually think, "Nah. It can't be that. Must be more complicated."


    No issues starting this morning. The last thing I have to do before scheduling the "Meet and Beat" is put my headlight harness back in.

    Ok. Hooked the headlight harness back up. No issues. Been starting fine. So I guess this is resolved.

    Thanks everyone for the feedback. I'm a little less ignorant because of it.
