Even if it tests OK I'd just bring it in to a shop and get a new battery installed and your charger/system tested. After five years its due - I'd rather use a new battery now than suffer with the old and then give a later purchased new battery to someone else if /when you sell the vehicle.

seriously; get rid of a battery with 60 months on it; not worth the cost of a future tow....
This global cooling, esp in alberta, hammers the life out of storage batteries.

Byron, the "green light" is actually a mini hydrometer measuring the Specific Gravity (the State of Charge) in one of the six cells in your wet "Maintenance Free" battery. Anyone of the other five cells could be unhealthy causing poor cranking performance or loss of capacity. Loss of water is a very common problem for this battery type, especially in hot climates. Most auto parts or battery stores will test your battery or charging system for free and it only takes a few minutes.

For more information, please see Section 4.4.3 in the Car and Deep Cycle Battery FAQ on www.batteryfaq.org.

    YEP-time for a new battery.
In the few days prior to my batteries end--you could tell that it was having difficluty "turning over".
5 years is a long life for a battery-time fo a new one.

Yes it can still be bad.
I'm most likely going back with battery from toyota.
I'm still on my stock battery with over 7+ years on it.

A weak battery can increase the duration of current on the starter's copper solenoid contacts causing slow clanking and to burn. This is probably the clicking sound you are experiencing. If the battery tests bad, then it should be replaced. If the clicking continues while cranking, there is a good possibility that the starter solenoid contacts are burned and not making a good contact. This is a common starter problem. To a lessor extent, the starter's brushes might be worn to the point that there are not making a good contact. Depending on the temperature, it is all about getting between 200 to 600 amps to the starter motor.

If you are a DIY'er, starter contact replacement takes about an hour and costs less than $15 in parts.

A load test will show its time to replace.
