Well off to the dealership Monday for a battery. My Son's battery crapped out last week and for a 2018 with 50k it served its purpose pretty well however he went with the 24F. My 18 has 20K miles and the trucks were ordered and built only a few days apart and my battery is still going strong but his new battery starts the truck a whole lot faster than mine as expected. So I have bought the 27F OEM tray for the 2nd. gen and going to the dealership to get a 27F Truestart this week. My understanding is the Truestarts for our region are made in the US where Interstate south of us and out to Ca. are made in Mexico and delivered on the Interstate truck. So for the warranty and price I feel safe going with the Toyota battery.
