Battery replacement lead to dead truck....twice

    Yes. It's a Mexican market 2019 "Special Edition" sort of a mash up between pro and off-road.

    No. They were far enough away that the truck wouldn't start when I jumped it after checking them.

    Both of those fuses are on battery power, not ignition, so they are only abnormal because your battery's voltage is low.

    I'm not understanding how everything was fine before parking attendant turned lights on and killed battery to now there's a parasitic draw. Where did that come from?

    If the battery cables were disconnected, the battery's voltage shouldn't drop at all for weeks.

    It was fine for months after that. The issue came to light when I replaced the factory battery with the new one. No idea what's going on.

    I assumed it would drop down to whatever it's "home" voltage is bc the alternator is putting out more voltage?
