    Years ago I used to replace all my oem batteries with Interstate batteries. They were always dependable. I don't even know where I would buy one anymore.

    seeing as the factory battery in my truck will be 8 years old next month, i figure when the time comes, i'll just go factory

    I second that!!!! Depending on your driving habits or temperature, maybe more frequently.

    Toyota's private labeled, TrueStart, is manufactured by Johnson Controls. IMHO, car dealer parts departments tend to have older batteries, shorter free replacement warranties and much higher prices than the national chain stores because their lower battery turnover.

    Most Interstate wet starting batteries are private labeled and made by Johnson Controls.
