Affternoon, I came out to a dead battery in my Taco Friday afternoon.

In hope of getting one last fire out of it, I put a batter charger on for about 10 minutes. No luck, battery is dead.

So I go to Napa, get a new battery and install it. The Taco fires right up, BUT now I have several errors - PCS, BSM, Adaptive Cruise, Traction control visit the dealership etc. See a short clip here:

    Thanks everyone!

You might try disconnecting the negative terminal for 15 minutes or longer if you have the time.

    :notsure:

Did you disconnect the negative cable first when you took the old battery out and connect it last when you put the new one in? These electrical systems are fussy and it's very easy to make contact and short something directly to ground accidentally if you don't.

Pretty sure I did, but what if I didn't? Is there an easy fix?

    Thanks, Chris

20230629_144616.jpg Try resetting ECU, again. This time get something to hold both (disconnected) terminals together for a healthy 20 min.
Reattach as mentioned above and see if the problem persists.

Morning, I tried both of the suggestions above, no change. I guess I'll have to take it to the dealership. Hope its a simple clearing of a code or bad relay, something simple.

    Thanks for the tips.
