I keep a can of battery terminal cleaner AND protectant spray handy.

A quick spray every oil change keeps the corrosion fairy away.

Does that actually help with battery longevity? I just hit it with a little wire brush once or twice a year.

Longevity? Don’t know. It certainly helps with keeping my terminal clamps in one piece and preventing a mess.

I use it on all of my vehicles and it’s been a decade since I had battery terminal Corrosion issues.

Pop some new terminal clamps on, get everything cleaned up, and then hit it every oil change.

    problem staying solved.
