Been seeing a lot of people replacing their battery terminals of 3rd gen Tacomas. Just wondering what the point is? More spots to add wires for Aux lighting, compressors, etc…?

Most likely, I mean every person's requirements are different.

Replaced mine because I wanted a more secure connection, with the ability to add anything in the future.

3rd Gen section already has a few dumpster fire threads maybe...

I assume because they don't know about accessory fuse blocks or have a whole lot of very power hungry items. Or both.

My Chassis-Battery connection, the 3 incher near the negative terminal, broke off on the prior owner and I wanted to replace it. Hells bells though a 3 inch length 0 gauge wire is mighty tough to massage into that spot so I figured to overhaul the whole terminal and get the Big three upgrade in.

But this is a first gen issue. Contact your local representative for a more applicable audience >.< :burp:
