Get used to it around here unfortunately. It's douches-a-plenty! Seems to come with ownership unfortunately. I guess when these guys aren't doing useless mods and what not on their mall crawlers they're here giving others shit.

So you've never owned a car until your 2016 Tacoma? Nothing? Not a single vehicle? If yes... Ok. Your dash message is normal.
If you've owned or driven absolutely anything else, yiu should've noticed a batt light on when in acc mode.

I bet you're wonderful to be around in person and a real treat at parties. The ladies probably throw themselves at your feet due to that amazing personality!

Since you said it, it must be true, so I added it to my signature. I'll have to call her tomorrow though just to verify.

I have always wondered why Tacomaworld is more active than the other auto forum and atv forums I am a member of. On the others when someone asks a question it gets an answer and maybe one or two more confirmations and that's it. On TW one question gets 20 a-hole respones and one good answer then 20 more dick responses.
Sorry OP, but all is fine with your truck, normal operation.

Don't call your mom too early tomorrow to verify. I don't want her cell to wake me up.

I get the same warning on my 17 TRD OR when in "On" position (2 pushes on start button Without foot on brake pedal)! Does it mean my battery charge is low? I've only got 875 mi on it and had it less than a month. Happens every time. I've never gotten this type of warning when putting any other car in "On" position with a key. My Porsche and Mercedes don't do it. This is my first Taco so is it an error or feature?
