I will get mega baked and enjoy this movie to the fullest. The special effects look similar to District 9 which I enjoyed very much.

    Just saw it. Excellent movie.

Coming from a grunt background, I hate movies with inaccurate portrayal of weapon systems, tactics, and attitude. This movie did not have it, thankfully. How the Marines acted, functioned, and used their weapons was close to spot on.

I was expecting more of a sci-fi feel to the movie, but it story (not the plot) was more on the lines of survival and sacrifice. The effects were great as was the overall acting. Very well done.

Just saw it too and that ^^^ about sums it up for me too, though it was lacking a little bit of substance IMO. I was also expecting a wider perspective rather than just following the same people throughout the entire movie, but it still worked OK.
