Im just hoping that BF changes how the player is moved in the game. It felt so unnatural running around in BC2 and gettin caught on a wall that CLEARLY should have been cleared. Just didnt feel smooth to me.

    BF3 for Xbox definitely.

COD is too frustrating. Stupid no scope/quickscope bull shit and other exploits that people take advantage of. Bf is straight up fighting, in realistic maps with realistic destruction and realistic damage/recoil etc.

    Oh and vehicles :)

Modern Warfare 3 is just the same game with another number.... BF3 is way more promising. I still play BC2 till this day.. Where as I've already traded in my MW2 and Black Ops... Funny thing is that I traded in my MW2 for BC2...

I am so excited for BF3. Me and my friends still play BF2 on the computer all the time, there is no better feeling than laying on the horn and running a car full of c4 into a croud of players lol

I am super pumped about BF3, I've been playing the battlefield series since 1942 came out way back when.

    Battlefield 1942
    Battlefield Vietnam
    Battlefield 2
    Battlefield 2142
    Battlefield Bad Company 2
    and now Battlefield 3

I want to know what my veteran status is going to get me in the game. Whenever I see someone using a M1 Garand I focus on killing them and taking their gun, love using it when I get the chance. Sucks that it's still only going to be 12 on 12 for Xbox players, Vietnam got nuts when you had 64 guys playing the same map.

I am definitely getting both but I am mainly excited for modern warfare 3 and assassins creed revelation this year over all the games coming out.

As was said on this thread earlier, they're two different games that offer two different styles of play. I've played both series and i like Modern Warfare better because its movement is a lot 'faster' than Battlefield. Go from playing Modern Warfare to Battlefield and you have to turn the sensitivity all the way up. On the other hand, I liked Battlefield because of the realism and also the vehicle options(how awesome is 2-3 guys from your team in the same chopper gunner:)

MW3 just because I haven't played any BF games. Also because most my friends play COD.

Im excited for BF3, the ONLY issue i have is that i hope and wish that it has the same heli and jet flying characteristics as the PC BF2, you know were you actually needed SKILL to fly it, if not i dont think the game will be as good as it could of been, oh and im getting MW3 too i play on PS3
