I'll be towing a boat and dirt bike trailer, hopefully a small camper trailer in the future as well. Bought towing receiver hitch and ball, tie-downs, emergency tow strap, flashlight, etc from Harbor Freight within the first week. Also bought EZ hose clamp and pop n lock bolt codable tailgate latch to secure the tailgate. Got a lockable gas cap as well.

Thanks! I've been wanting it for years and years! Excited to go out and have fun. I would borrow my sister's 1993 SR5 as much as possible as a teenager. Can't wait for the full build but that'll take time and money so I wanted a place to start collecting photos.

Put in the lockable tailgate and EZ hose clamp. I think I will get a soft tonneau cover before a bigger storage setup in the bed. I will use the bed a bunch for dirt bikes, furniture, etc. but want to be able to lock snowboards and camping gear in the bed for weekends.image.jpgimage.jpg

1st time off-roading and getting it dirty. The 4-high and 4-low did excellent with both rocky and muddy sections. I felt the stock tires did just fine in traction (read lots of people saying they hate these tires). Even put it's first scratches in the front right lower part of the bumper. photo1.jpg image2.jpg image3.jpg image4.jpg

Let's be honest, you just wanted an excuse to get an armored front bumper... So which one are you getting?

Not sure yet... I'm not sure I need the full All-Pro front bumper with headlight protector loops but something in that nature.

Cbi, pelfreybilt or even arb are the ones I'm looking at. There's many of nice bumpers out there.

Would you mind sharing what brand/model number gas cap you got for your 2015? I've tried to look but postings so far have been other model years. Thanks in advance!

Like your truck. Of course I am prejudice I have the same color TRD off road with access cab. I like yours better with the double cab but I go solo in mine and take wife's car on trips. Did you install the locking table gate yourself ?

Thanks! Can't wait to do more of a build on it but saving money. Yes the locking tailgate is easy to install on your own. I watched the install instructional youtube video on my ipad while I did it, to pause and confirm the steps while I do. Make sure to get the one that allows you to code your main key with it "codable" so you don't have to carry around a different key. It locks real well and it will be great when I put a tonneau cover on sometime soon.

Some updates over the past few weeks. I purchased and installed a BakflipG2 tonneau cover, performed a "mudflap mod" and had the front windows tinted to "factory". Pics below:
