    Resurrection / Build Thread

Information regarding the total/retainment process I went through here:
    https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads...w-5spd-mt-totaled.818877/page-3#post-29373800

So far I have had the mechanical repairs and alignment completed for about $3K

Hopefully will have my marketplace wheels/tires put on soon, tires are old so looking into replacing them. leaning towards 265/70/r17 Falken Wildpeak AT3's, other suggestions welcomed. Maybe go Skinnier?

My insurance says it will consider reinstating collision coverage for the truck if I supply them with receipts for the work needed and photos. I'm planning to look into that further and see if I can get the Collision reinstated.

Still need to consider the auto body aspect. I did get the fender banged out and slapped back onto the truck. Considering finding a collision shop to do the repair which would most likely be all non-oem parts or find some oem parts and reinstall myself. Only reason considering the collision shop is for the insurance coverage. Don't love the idea of a non Toyota fender.

The bumper is dented in but doesn't look un repairable. Haven't looked into fixing the dent much. Brute strength doesn't help. Maybe using a heat gun?

Slowly but surely hoping to get the truck to better than ever. Excited to continue with the build of this truck and to document the process here!

Also the last build thread I did for the 1990 pickup I had that led me to the 2009
