No worries, depending on how far east youre willing to go there's dinosaur hill in pleasant hill and eagle peak in clayton. Maybe not the scope of grizzly or twin peaks but it might be worth a look on a lazy night cruise

Mount Hamilton in the South Bay. Be careful though as there are telescopes up that way and often, observations are happening...

The sheriff (police officer?) up there can be a complete asshole if he runs into you parked after hours.

When you have the chance, head up to Hawk Hill for a view of the City you won't soon forget. Night viewing may be interrupted by the park service for "Homeland Security" these days. But still, awesome views.

did you try treasure island, in the presidio/ crissy fields area, marin(trying to find the spot where you can see both gg bridge and bay bridge.) around diamond heights/cole valley? next to twin peaks theres a park where u can see downtown area I think ive watch blue angels fly there but forgot exactly where it is. end of evans theres a complex called shipyard. you can see the bay bridge and downtown.

We used to go up to Alexander Battery when I was a kid. Not sure if it's still open though- its been a LONG time. Did have some cool views.

That sounds correct. I’d have to look it up to be sure. Old WW1 era fort decommissioned/scrapped in ww2 era or so if I remember right.
