Oh, for real. I've been around a long time and just finished paying off the loan for the Wagyu Beef I prepared. But what really killed me was the beer. That dude, @Fernando, he loves him some Coors Light. And some of the other small craft brew snobs.

We're well past the days of a few beers and brats.

 

Everyone does it. I hosted the best BBQ when I was new. Set me back a bit on mod money, but the members you meet help you in the future by saving on labor costs. I had kobe beef and lots of expensive aged scotch. But certain veteran members had their own requests, which of course I accommodated. Wife was cooking up filet mignon in the house and making mixed drinks.

Don't kill the tradition. When you hosting? I love brisket by the way.

Put down a deposit on a manual 2021 TRD-OR yesterday. Been staring at pictures for almost 2 years, fretting over the price. Decided to jump in and do it.
ETA between Jan-Mar.

First mod will be 2018-2019 style grille and tails.
Bought a grille and plastidipped ring over a year ago, just been waiting for a truck to put them on.



Of course, I have no idea how I'm going to fit it in my garage along with my motorcycle, but that's a 1st world problem I don't mind.

Got a full set of mud flaps I just removed from my 2nd Gen OR I wanna get rid of. Free of charge if you can meet somewhere between El Sobrante and Berkeley, but it'll cost you a 6-pack outside that range Not thrashed but faded/worn accordingly for coming off an 11-year-old vehicle.

 

Can anyone in sf peninsula help do cosmetic installations? Grilles, brush bars, fog lights? I need help

 

I'm pretty competent mechanically, but won't have any direct experience with Tacomas till the end of Feb when my truck arrives.

 

@wolf2600 yeah this is my first Tacoma I just bought 3 months ago. I’d be down to learn along the way and help you out as well. Did you pre-order? What did you get?

 

Ordered a 2021 TRD Off Road, DCSB, 6MT, magnetic grey in December.
Apparently it was built last week and is scheduled for delivery at the end of Feb.
