Here's the conundrum. I've had an inferno DCLB OR with tow and Premium Tech on order since mid October and still no build date. Honestly I've never seen the inferno color but from what I've heard, pictures do not do it justice. I just saw a BBP at the dealership today and pictures do not do it justice either. Beautiful.
My dealer states it's the inferno color is what's causing the delay and that I could get the blue much faster.

What is the consensus for those who has actually seen each color in person?

Edit. Yeah I know this comes down to personal preference but I'm welcoming opinions on the pros and cons of each since I haven't seen inferno in person. Is one better fitted with the black accents than the other? Are both about the same "depth", both show dirt the same? Looks better at night? Just mainly curious what you guys thought that's seen both. Thanks again.

Honestly, really comes down to your preference, but if you are asking me for my opinion, wait for the one you really want. I'm guessing you are going to own it for some time and why settle on less.

I was surprised at the blue color, picture don't accurately convey the color. However an inferno dctrdor was available so I jumped on it. I hated the color at first on the Pro models but once I saw it in person......done.

The inferno rocks man... always a different color...depending on the light .... AWSOME when clean and in full sunlight...!!

I agree. I've seen both on the dealer's lot and they look much better in person then they did on the Toyota website or in the brochure. You made a good choice!

Interesting... what made you jump from the BBP to Inferno? was it just the uniqueness?

The inferno does change depending on the sun. It can be really light ( the best looking time) or can be a darker shade. Pics do it no justice at all. The blue is very nice also, but if you are looking to stand out, inferno is the way to go. Think about the next few days of driving around and see how many blue vehicles you see compared to an orange color.

Yeah. That's what made me think inferno originally. A lot of blue trucks around and few burnt orange, but for those people who get that color, does the attraction ware off and make you wish you had a more standard color?

it was available and I have seen zero on the road, except the TRD Pro's from last year. BTW it is a cop magnet big time, don't ask.....lol

hell no, love it even more...except the grill, but thats being handled very soon.

We were looking for a blue as well, dealer turned out to be a dick when we found one, happened to find an inferno the next day 200 miles away. drove and bought it. The color is amazing, it looks solid but if the sun hit it, it looks like a pearl. I'm in love with this color, especially with the black and orange interior!

I was driving home on Monday and was looking at the hood scoop as I would pass under bridges and over passes and back into the sun, the colors on all the angles and curves as seen from the drivers seat were mesmerizing!

I also ordered an inferno OR when I could have had another color faster. I'm still waiting and that's just fine. I never would have ordered an inferno but for seeing one in person. Just wait for it. Of course BBP looked good as well. The OR looks good in ALL the available colors.

Thank you. You have made the right choice. You may be 'meh' if you get your truck when it's cloudy, but on a sunny day, you will be VERY happy you got Inferno.
