BBQ joints in greater bay area?

    i love BBQ. i rarely eat it here in CA, since my taste have been calibrated in texas. but some notable places.

    D'Miller in Carmichael

    and today; Buster's in Calistoga..very good tri-tip very tender, great flavor. sauce is a bit "in yo face!" and the side dishes are comically tiny.

    I love Busters tri-tip sandwiches!
    I like Lombardis in petaluma.
    Sauced is also pretty good in petaluma too.

    But you may have a hard time finding BBQ that compares to that bomb Texas BBQ.

    Interested to see what some other good local spots are.

    Denise's farmers market in Tracy/Lathrop.....next to Del Osso.

    They have a small restaurant.....awesome tri tip and pork was tasty!

    I thought Sauced in Livermore was tasty for a small "chain" if ya will.

    I remember enjoying Cole's BBQ in Capitola as a kid.....haven't been there in years though!

    We just got a Famous Daves in Alameda. Meh...

    Everett and Jones is better than average but not incredible...
