Finishing 2nd in the SEC east with all new coaches, and coming off of a losing season isn't to bad of a start... especially considering the two top teams in the nation only beat us by a combined 12 points. I believe we will be a top contender for the sec championship in the coming years.

One thing I will say (and I probably speak for all volnation) is I'm sick and tired of Lane Kiffin running his damn mouth. Even if we went undefeated I still think running your mouth like he does is stupid. Shit talking is stupid whether your top dawg or bottom of the barrell.

SEC, the only college football conference. The rest may as well be Texas high school football!

Texas Highschool Football is the best Highschool football in all the land.

and yea the SEC has 4-5 good teams every year but they still got the bottom of the barrel teams every year too.. Miss, Miss St., Vandy, Kentucky.. then one of the usually good teams always flops.

They should re do all the main conf into 4 or 5 Conf. North South East West and Central. get the truely best programs in each region.. 8-10 per conf. and then all the shit teams in each conf. can form there own shit conf.

I can agree with that. I just wish we could throw the BCS out of the window. It's been said a million times but there needs to be a type of playoff/bracket system. To me, the National Championship this year already happened between Bama and UF.

Bama Rolled Florida.. Texas deserves a shot.. and if there was a bracket I bet the end result would have been the same.

YES!!!!!!!!!!! The National Championship is supposed to be between the two best teams, and it's unfair that the SEC has to knock each other out of the equation while some conferences sit on there fat ass (Big 10 and I'm calling out Ohio State on this). I don't really have a problem with Texas being in there this year because they actually played that extra game too even though they barely scraped by. If there was a playoff, we wouldn't need conference championship games. If that was in place this year, I honestly think it would have all funneled back down to UF and Bama.

I agree there needs to be a playoffs .. they could increase the amount of wins to 8 to be bowl eligable.. and then take the low level bowls and make them the first couple rounds of the brackets.

No one needs to see Michigan poly tech play against Utah A&M in the Scrubbin bubbles Toilet Bowl.

make all the bowl games mean something... 6 wins is such a low bar to set .. teams should have to earn there entry
