Working on it, dissent offroad racks, shift sense pro, pedal commander , ARB twin, rigid SS dually's , dual batteries, ARB fridge , 2.5 Fox coil overs wResi , 2.5 Fox rears w resi Total chaos UCA , deaver packs , Nitto trail grappler's 33" .
I'm not a spacer lift fan. But hell if you want a 6" go for it !!! They look great. I imagine they may ride a little on the rough side. But go with some great shocks and have fun :).
My 04 has about 4" lift with 35" tire's . It's stiff as hell and very firm, but I recently drove it 1300 miles and loved every minute of it .
Ride comfort is totally subjective. It's your $$$$$$$ ! Do what makes you happy and proud every time you look at it and drive around in it.

I do not want a stiff ride. I can go either way. I can go the icon full suspension with kings or whatever. I think u can run 33s on that lift and that is what someone else recommended. Going to also order as pro skid plate and have it painted like the one they did at Maui offroad . That truck looks great especially with the red accents

Yes you can run 33's. Having a stiff ride has nothing to do with the 6" lift itself, it's all in the coilovers and rear setup.

Now your talking :). Have the icon stage 5 on route for my rig. Looking to run 33" Nito trail grapplers .
Going to set it at 2.5" and with the 33" tire's should ride sweet, get me wherever I want/need to be and look great ! That's my 1,2,3 criteria

If I go with BDS it shows on that lift 35s fit. That is what is on the one at Maui off road. That said not sure what it would look like on person. Guess I have some time to hopefully see one in person and decide. Plus like to drive one. As stated I drive 650 to 700 miles a week

BDS 6" lift, Toyo tires on Method wheels
Somewhere on the web there is a front end view of two lifted Tacomas...one with a 6" Rough Country and one with a 6" BDS lift. The purpose of the picture is to compare the angle of the front axles of both Tacomas. The BDS kit retains the factory angle while the Rough County kit does not...in fact its very severe. The picture is so clear. This was the main reason why I choose to go with BDS. As far as the Alcans, just give Bill a call and he will work with you on building you a set. I think they are $730 plus shipping. If you plan on carrying a lot of off road gear in the bed all the time or tools, etc. he needs to know that too.

The "haters" are usually people who use their trucks off-road and understand how to properly lift a vehicle. Not just a drop bracket which will only make it more top heavy useless offroad

6" BDS is a lot of lift for 650 miles a week. I have icons on my truck and 33's and the ride is awesome. If you occasionally tow, go with full kings or icons and dakars in the rear with an additional AAL and you'll be running 3-4" rear and 2.75" approx up front. Beefy tires and you're good to go!
