I’d install the lift, then measure. Unload the coil overs as needed to obtain the 6” you want. I have a feeling you won’t need that much preload.

Some guy assembles them knowing nothing about your trucks setup, weight, etc

You are supposed to set them

I’m really hoping that’s all I need to do as opposed to needing a new spring.

Yeah it looks like you have a ton of adjustment left on those shocks allowing you to reduce the preload. You should be fine.

I called BDS. They’re saying the lofts designed specifically to keep factory geometry and that if the cv angles are not in good alignment that there’s a chance I installed it incorrectly and I need to take it to a professional to have them look at it.

Which I think is kinda dumb cause they just sold me a lift with adjustable coilovers that are adjustable for a reason

I've installed a few, the CV angles are usually way better than the spacer lifts. Same with tie rod and cv angles.

BDS is top shelf for brodozer lifts in my eyes.

My driver angle doesn’t seem too terrible but my passenger is like a good bit worse. So maybe it is possible that I messed up idk

I’d start by setting the coil overs to zero lift. Then preload them as needed to obtain the additional lift as needed. (There are no spacers on top of the coil over correct?) I’m betting it’s gonna at least half of what they are now from the previous pic of them. Oh fyi, there not much to install wrong, the steering knuckles can only go in one way and the drop brackets too.

Ya I don’t really feel like I could have made a major wrong move. The bolt hole alignment of the kit wasn’t perfect in some spots and I had to wallow them out a little bigger in 2 spots and i can share those locations but it’s not due to the wrong parts being in the wrong place (im not an expert but im fairly certain). I watched an install vid like a hundred times and used the install manual too.

I wish I had a hydraulic spring compressor to throw these in though because they’re supposed to be out of the vehicle rather than adjusted with a spanner like previously made coilovers

You should be able to adjust the preload on those with just a basic spring compressor kit that is two clamps for each side of the coil (the kind many often suggest don't use)... In this particular case, all you are doing is taking the spring pressure off the adjusting collar just enough so you can turn it, which this can also be done with the shock still mounted on the truck (if the compressor was to break, the coil would still be contained on the shock and can't go anywhere).
Of course I don't suggest using this type compressor on stock shocks or ones like the Bilstein 5100 though.

Ok so adjusted preload 1” and it helped cv angles. I can get pics later but I think we still need to come down some more. However, the passenger side angle is still super bad. And I sorta know why passenger and driver cv angles are so much different now (passenger is way worse). It’s because the inner cv axle housing on passenger side is sitting higher than the driver side. I believe this is because when I installed the lift I had to cut away part of my frame so the front crossmember could swing high enough up so that the mounting bolt could go through the mounting hole. Otherwise when I first tried to install the front crossmember— I’d swing it up and it would get hung up by part of my frame. The maroon/red color arrow in this picture shows the location I had to do that. And because I cut that, that means that the passenger side diff support came up too.

But the question is, why did the crossmember get hung up and not just mount nicely in place? The maroon arrow shows where I had to cut away from my frame so the crossmember would mount up correctly

This pic shows how much lower the driver side inner cv axle housing looks (refer to the turquoise reference points)

You did install the spacers to lower the diff mounts correct?

Where do they go? I don’t recall them being apart of the install

Usually on the db kits you lower the diff assembly. Let look at their assembly instructions

I remember there being spacers for the factory skid plate but I didn’t use those. I have a printed version of the installation manual and I watched a video but I don’t recall spacers for the diff supports. They’re just these arms that you beat bushings into. I could have somehow missed it but ya idk I don’t recall

Idk if it was mentioned here yet— as I made another thread about the issue with cv angles not matching etc. but 4x4junkie noticed in some of the pictures that I posted that the passenger side diff support tabs looked welded on upside down. And looking at it in person they very much orient facing up on the crossmember on my truck, but orient facing down in the instructions. Here’s the pics. I’m the instruction manual it is figure 20 right below step 37.
