I used to have an old 86 4x4 with a 22R and completely loved it. I have been missing it for years. A couple months ago I decided I couldn't keep doing the car thing and needed a pickup. I have been trying to find an extended cab first gen for a while. Just recently bought a 98 TRD extended cab that turned out to have a bend frame. Went looking again and ran across a listing for an 01 4x4 DC for $9700. Went to see it today and had to really try to hide my excitement. I made out like a bandit. This thing is emaculate, turns out to be a TRD, white with no blemishes at all and runs great with 132,000 miles. It has every power group plus a new pioneer head unit and a nice dvd player mounted in the ceiling. There is a fold up tonnou cover, bed liner, brand new AT tires, step rails, grill guard (coming off), and even in-channel window shades. I am completely psyched!

Definitely needs pics. All I had when I went was my phone. Next week I will get some up....... with my son driving it of course. It's an automatic so I figure a 15 month old should be able to handle it right?

No plans too big for now. I went completely crazy on my old jeep and ended up having to get rid of it because it was nowhere near "family". I am looking at cheap little things like painting the grill white and getting darker lenses for the lights. Maybe some nice seat covers to protect the investment.

I got her and am loving her. My whole family is jealous. My daughter was besides herself that the dvd was busted but I got a replacement on the way. The body and everything is in great shape. The grill is coming off and is already on craigslist.
