    Itz JDM tyte, yo!
I like the 20+ grill that the TRD Sport and Off-Road has, which is the grill that's on the red truck pictured in OP's post. I do wish it came black instead, but the gray is fine.

The TRD PRO grill also looks good too, but the problem is, everybody has it. The fact that I like the 20+ TRD Sport/Off-Road grill decreases my motivation to swap over to the TRD PRO grill.

I do dislike the grill that the 16-17 and the 18-19 TRD Sport and Off-Road has. If I have one of those, I would have swapped to the TRD PRO grill.

I opted for the Pro grille with white vinyl on the Toyota letters, which harkened back to my '90 SR5 that had Toyota on it's grille, too. So it was a piece of connecting heritage, for me.

pro-grill would look bad-ass if it didnt have the center cross bar at all & didnt have the toyota logo at all either....
Im not a fan of the toyota logo across any of the grills, but thats just me...

Chrome will get you home. Pro grills have played out.

Not sure what the ongoing obsession with the silly grills is all about. They all look good and none is any "cooler" or "better" than the next.

You’re right, Joe!they certainly look great, and by no means I was asking if one was better than the other. I just wanted to hear inputs on what people liked. IMO less is more and that’s what I wanted to go with, and seeing that there are a few options for these trucks also helps.

I have been cursed with the male dog syndrome, I must mark everything I own. It started with my first good bike my parents proudly bought me for my birthday when I was in elementary school. Before school the next day I had stripped every extra item off that bike, rack, fenders, chain guard, lights, etc....Mom and dad had to save money to afford that bike and pay extra for all those goodies on that Schwinn cruiser. Bless their hearts, may they RIP, they never said a word.

I have been compelled to do the same to every car, motorcycle, bicycle and boat since....There is no cure for my sickness.....

oh ya, I like the stock Off Road grill

Meh. I got other things to waste money on than fretting over whether something "looks" better or worse. I see zero wrong with that grill and the money and time to change it can go to SO many other better uses.

be thankful the only problem you have with your tacoma is what the grill looks like. cherish it in fact. you will need reliable transportation to escape the cities of cod liver oil soaked corpses (be sure to hit the no recirculate button). your grill will not matter in the zombie apocalypse.

I think its more of a color of the truck. Like PRO looks real good with black, limited orange color they had etc but on white I would go with the off road one. I have black SR5 and I would pick PRO for mine

I'm a fan. I don't hate the heritage grill but think its played out see them on all stock rigs and no other mods, etc. I'm a bit of a simplest less is better, but both look good.

For the 140$ for some grade A chinesium it was a very worth while change in appearance. And technically the heritage grille should work better after the lift. Even though I havnt been able to use my cruise control in about 3 years

Go with what you like - I was not a big fan of the OR grill and everybody and their brother gets a pro grill - I looked around and went with an X-Trek grill and put the Tacoma badge on it rather than the Toyota letters . . . . just to be a bit different (see my avatar). I gave the OR grill to a guy who had just bought a new 23 2WD SR5 I think it was. Lifts and beefier tires start getting expensive but hey I have seen some pretty modded out pavement queens.
