You should see my dash from doing the ipod2car mod. It looks like crap now.
The gigantic and smooth radio knobs are a little annoying.

The power sliding rear window for the dc and access cabs should be standard. Does anyone know of an aftermarket one?

This truck is the most luxurious vehicle that I've ever driven--which is actually my only complaint. It should feel more like a truck--my lift and the TSB helped this alot, but I still miss my 2000 sometimes. If I had to wish for something it would be that Tacos came with Jeep paint--that crap is indestructable! Every Jeep I've ever seen looked like new paint-wise, including Hubby's 97, beat-to-hell Cherokee. I've never had a vehicle with heated mirrors--I just scrape off the ice with a scraper like I always have. :)

7 years of ownership and 140k miles only complaints I can think of; 1. Almost upside down oil filter 2. a squeaky-ish rattle from the dash above glove compartment during cold temp. (also a factory blem on the dash same location, resembles a small boill) 3. very faint buzz from around gear selector in cold weather.
I was a little nervous awhile back when I got 2 MIL codes but after changing AFRM (front O2) and cleaning MAF & TB, no more trouble codes Yea!
Plain and simple I`m darn satisfied.

Overall, I'm very happy with mine as well. I just think maybe I expect more since this is the most expensive vehicle purchased by anyone in my family over the last 10 years. Hell, it was nearly $10,000 more than my mom's 2004 Rav4 (that was new, and her most expensive vehicle I believe).

So maybe that's why I'm a little disappointed with slight oversights like the non-illuminated 4WD switch, and the lack of hood struts (standard on the 94 camry mom traded for her Rav4). Or the fact that Scions costing half what this truck did have mp3 players. That should be a simple software upgrade for the stereos across the entire product line. Or maybe the fact that Tundras and all other pickups have a cargo light in the brake light.

On a side note, anyone else notice the new Tundras have running lights via turn signals like the modded Tacomas? Wonder if Toyota noticed that mod and took the idea? :D

Lockking tailgate would be nice...Hook up for IPOD...DC outlet in armrest (my Pathfinder has one) It is great to charge your Cell Phones....power rear window...Automatic headlight on sensor (once again my old Nissan, now my wife's car has this and I keep forgetting to turn them on)...

In my opinion these are all small options that really don't matter when campared to the benefits of buying the truck...so if you didn't ask I wouldn't have been thinking about it...

    Westin Bull Bar
    Things I wish it had:
Rear Defroster (would be nice but not a must)
No visible antenna like my previous car (just thought it was cooler, again not important, just a want)
Black interior (I always go for black interior if I can)
Better computer on the gauge cluster (other new vehicles show a lot more info)
Locking fuel tank door (my old car automatically locked and unlocked with the rest of the car)
Bed lights (is this the only truck without them?)
An engine that did not tick
More precise steering (my BMW could do a perfectly straight line without touching the steering wheel, no dead zone at all)
A hood that can hold itself up (again doesn't every other vehicle have this now?)

    Things I'm glad I have:
    6 disc changer
    Digital Compass
    Steering wheel mounted audio controls
    Rear locker (just in case)
    Plenty of storage space
    AC power outlet in bed
Auto-dimming mirror (last car had it and I loved it ever since)
    Sport seats
    4.0L V6
7 yr/100k mi bumper to bumper warranty
Oh and like 7 million cupholders (I had 2 in my last car, the armrest had to flip up to get the second one)

Things I don't have or need:
Leather (last car had it and found it wasn't that important to me)
Aux input or iPod jack (6 disc is plenty)
Power seats (could be nice but I rarely move my seat)
Auto climate control (nice in some places, annoying in others)
Moon roof (I just hardly ever used mine)

All in all I love my truck. The stuff I want changed on it isn't the most important of things (other than the damn engine tick).

How useful is an AC power outlet in the bed when you can only use it when the truck is running? Would be nice for camping but I don't think I will be leaving my truck running when I am camping. I don't think you would leave your truck running at a work site either.
