Diesel engine option! I have a VW Golf TDI for everyday use and a 1990 Pickup for my weekend fun. Could replace both with a Diesel option new Tacoma. I put on a lot of miles and like the 50 MPG of the vw.

I have had my 2015 V6 SR5 4x4 access cab with tow package about a month now.

I wish there was a reasonable place to put a freakign brake controller that doesn't look like butt. I mean come on, I got the tow package and the pigtail from the factory, where do they mean for me to install the controller?

Why is the AUX and USB input for the stereo two meters away from the radio in prime trailer brake controller install territory? Tearing the dash apart to move the aux audio inputs reads like a major pain the ass.

They couldn't put these two small plugs on the faceplate of the radio because why? How about in the wasted off dash warning light area immediately under the radio? Plenty of room in there beside the neon billboard telling me whether or not I got a body in the passenger seat. I certainly wouldn't notice there was a corpse buckled in next to me with out the warning light...

I think I am going to try to fit a P3 in the coin box, only I'll drill the door so the boost lever is available even with the door shut. If it fits. Does anyone speak enough Japanese to go to tacomaworld dot japan and see what trailer brake controller they use at home? And where they install it?

    Otherwise good truck.
