Just curious, I have a 2012 DCSB and am curious to see how you guys and gals haul your surfboards. I have a 7'6" fun board and a 9'2" longboard, not alot of room to work with in the bed. Post some pics of your tacoma at the beach with your boards!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The board is an 11'2" Surftech, Lopez Big Darlin' SUP. I thought about racks on the cab, but finally went with the leer cap, which I bought for about the same price (used) as the cab-top racks would have cost from the stealership. The racks are yakima Q-towers with locks and crossbars that I pieced together from craigslist and amazon (some parts new, others used). It is an awesome set up--I really like having the cap.

Nice set-up, I was also considering a cap with top rails. Do you get much "board bumping" from the wind at highway speeds?

No board bump whatsoever at 65mph, which is the speed I usually cruise at on the highway. I barely notice its there.
