Ha. I’m down here and missed this by about 16 hours. We ran the beach yesterday morning to fish. Couldn’t believe this happened.

Highway biased tires typically perform better than M/Ts as others have said they float.
My 35/12.5/18 Ridge Grapplers worked really well at 20-22psi yesterday in both wet hardpacked and soft rutted sand. Couldn’t complain one bit.
That said, the Hankooks are popular. Lots of BFG KO2 in these parts. The Michelin M/S has always been good sand performer due to its ability for lots of sidewall flex.

Why has no one mentioned General Grabber. They were designed and built for racing on sand in baja, and WON

Less aggressive for sand, but I have had good runs with 33x12.5 x15mt Baja claws aired down to about 12psi.

I would just run s9me Michelin LtX or any other great street tread, BF Goodrich long trail,..
My dad us3d to run these down PINS in the 70s on his Chevy 1/2ton when the cattle, still ran that beach and it wasn’t so packed.
    They were pretty cool.

Honestly, unless you are looking for a different look then the stock tires on my sr aired down to 15 psi with brass tire deflators (15 bucks on Amazon) does just fine on very soft Delaware sand.
