Beach Vacation..

I'm from Indiana and my girlfriend and I are looking at taking a vacation to Florida in July. The only thing she's asking is beachfront rental, (hotel or cottage or whatever the hell else) Gulf Coast, and must be able to drink on the beach. I found a place called Siesta Keys Banyan Tree Resort, any reviews on this? I'd also like to meet some fellow Tacoma owners while I'm there as I'll be driving my 16 down. Looking at staying 4-5 days probably. I prefer the siesta keys, Tampa, or Anna Maria areas..

 

All of those areas are great, not sure on the resort though as I haven't stayed at any of them.

Ive been going to siesta for 15 years and I'm only 23 years ago lol there is no beach better

Every single get a way me and the old lady do is one spot and one spot only. Sheppards resort in Clear Water. I don't know how old y'all are but very inviting for 25-35 yr old range if that makes sense? Awesome "High-end" rooms. HUGE pool with an AWESOME Food,Grill hut and 2 seperate bars with a huge stage on the sand with the water behind it for Friday Saturday nights. Plus the mobility down there is free down the entire strip with a company who partners with the resort call Flordia Free Rides. Just tip the guy $5 and you are safe from Drinking and Driving, they pick you up at the resort or from anywhere on the strip. MULTIPLE bars on the beach and restaurants down the strip with a sky scrapper roof top bar looking over the entire strip. REALLY fun and exciting night life. Sorry for making it so long m. I have no connection with them lol we are a few hours away. I just HIGHLY recommend it to anyway in-state or visiting.

 

I've been to plenty of beaches all up and down the Gulf Coast, from Key West to Pensacola and honestly, Destin is the nicest, cleanest beach I have been to. Can't beat how white the sand is and how clean it is.

I'm 23 and she's 22, so renting may be a pain in the ass unless it's a hotel. some places require you to be 25 it looks like..

 

Destin isn't out of the question either! any beachfront places there?

 

Same boat as us... Until tomorrow, then I'll be 24 lol.. Y'all won't have any problem though..

 

I'll throw in a wildcard. Skip Florida and head to outer banks n.c. get a place on the 4x4 beaches in corolla. Best beach vacation I have ever had

 

I'll be 24 in March, so that may look a little better on me!

east coast isn't an option for her. Florida or bust. next year were going west to do some off-roading in Colorado, whether she likes it or not lol.

 

This is unfortunately the only picture I have showing from our balcony last time we were there. You can see more on the website But the pavilion in the back right is the stage. The middle is one of the bars etc.. They have jet ski rental right behind the bar..

When we went we stayed at the Holiday Inn which is right on the beach. Great service and loved being able to just walk right out to the beach. Drinking is fine, just no glass containers really, we use some solo cups if we had bottles. Whitest sand you'll see in Florida, also super clear water

Anytime man if yall decide to come to Tampa area let me know and we may be able to lunch or even a trail ride. Hit up this thread if you go to Destin or anywhere in the panhandle. Fort Walton is a good beach too, pretty close to Destin.
