Beadlocks in and of themselves are MOSTLY not DOT approved

In a state, like say SC, that doesnt have inspections...theres nothing prohibiting you from using them

In a state with inspections, if you have a dick of an inspector, he may want to see the DOT stamp

along those lines...there are companies that make DOT approved beadlocks...and there are other ways around it...such as DIY kits that use a DOT approved wheel and add the lock rings...

cuz companies dont feel the need to pay an arm and a leg to some bullshit agency for a 'DOT' stamp on their off road wheels. The only thing that makes a wheel or tire DOT approved is a DOT stamp.

This is what Im planning to purchase for my birthday:

^ walker evans is cheaper and has amazing backspacing (3.75")

I dont believe you will get into any trouble with non-DOT approved wheels

Mine are a 17x9 but you can get a 16x8 i dont know if the 16 will work on a Taco though...

They are Micky Thomson Classic locks. you can but different bead lock colors too or just powder coat the ones it comes with....
