I haven't been up there in several years but from what I remember the zoo is small but nice, don't expect the Bronx zoo. Kids will love the carousel and there is a museum somewhere in the park with artifacts from daily life of people from 1700s, revolutionary war and maybe even war of 1812.

Haven't been to Bx zoo yet, small one will suffice, lol.
Thanks for info, I didn't know about the museum. We'll see how much time we will have, but the carousel is the must!

PM me if that is still an option. I can help you figure it out. I am 2 minutes from the park.

I'll go wherever, but I'm totally down with a bbq. I have plenty of time to change plans too, I got a 2 hour drive north

Carousel is on my bribery list for the kids, so I'm with ya. Depending on their ages the zoo is decent, at least for my 3&6 y.o. I'm up for whatever, including bbq, ride to the top, or whatev. I'm about an hour away and meet time for me will be dependent on the boss and kids getting out of the house.

If you guys pin down a time and meet place, I might be able to come over, say hi, check out your rigs, then bolt because of other commitments.

My little ones will be 3 yo in 2 months. Their attention span is insane, lol, but whatever size of a zoo it is, it will be just fine for them. Same goes for carousel.
For us it's about 2 hr drive, so hopefully we can make it around 11ish or so.
But the whole zoo thing might not work out, if we will have to take a dog with us.... to be determined!

Like I've mentioned above, we'll shoot for 11. Getting out of the house with them, it takes some time and patience.

I'm all for a bbq, if someone's cooking, lol!

We will figure it out somehow. Hopefully the weather will work out, so we could enjoy ourselves a bit!

So the festival is at Anthony Wayne Park which is 5 min from Bear Mountain state park, I think they changed it last year. We could meet in the Anthony Wayne lot around 11am. Hopefully there is a area where we can all park side by side. We can BS for a little bit and depending on what you and your families want to do some of us will head into festival while some head into bear mountain.

Sounds good to me. Just need to make sure the troops get out on time.

Hey @crazychris4124, just want to make sure... When you're talking about that Anthony Wayne stuff, is this what you have in mind?
