I have a 2010 access cab 4 cyl 4x4 with manual transmission with hopefully only a slight issue. When my Taco is in natural with the air conditioning compressor engaged I hear what appears to be slight throwout bearing noise but when I depress the clutch or the compressor disengages the noise goes completely away. When the air conditioner is on and the compressor not running there is no noise in natural or with the clutch engaged???? Is this a sign my throwout bearing already needs replacement at only 67,000 miles?

    Dreaded Throwout Bearing issue
Yes I've heard that small chirping noise starting around 30k. I now have 107k miles and still hear small noise. I have a 2007 6cyl 4x4 6spd. Will get mine replaced this year.

This is a known issue. If you are still under warranty you may get it fixed. If not you can either live with it, or buy an after market product from URD to fix it.

I bought a Honda civic at 100 000 kms on it with a bad throw out bearing and sold it at 280 000 kms later with the same grinding sound, never fixed it.
