Just got a call from Toyota saying I need new bearings in the front, is it worth doing it myself or is it easyer to just have them replace them? Don't have a ton of space or equipment at home so that is a factor.
    Thanks

I had one bearing go at 65K, so I replaced both. It is certainly easier to have Toyota do the work, but extremely expensive. I did mine outside of my garage. My cost was 195, 120 for both bearings on Ebay, 75 to press them at a local shop. My dealer wanted 850. It is not an easy job, but for me worth it.

I'd ask around locally and see who is good at this type job. Buy the parts, pull the parts, take everything to them to have pressed, re-install yourself.
