    I'm glad you found some info on that region. I'm going to get up to the Inland Empire region for some new scenery soon .

    But beware of staements like this:

    The trail continues downwards to the ridge between Gleason and Beartrap Canyons offering some very good views in the process. Mid way down this trail you find a short spur trail leading you to a narrow ridge. This route ends with an excellent viewing point and is used primarily to give access to power lines.


    Those access roads to power line maintenance, etc; can be brutal.

    We found that out down here in San Diego at Corral Canyon......:eek::eek:

    Do a TW search for PJ PEAK & maybe better info will pop up ....:D

    I would...but too far. thats like 2.5+ hours from me (405/101).

    thx for the offer - but I already got plans tonight. 3+ hours one way to wheel is not really worth it to me, that kind of distance is only worth it if im doing a big campingfishing trip. Another time man, we will make it happen.

    Are any of the trails up in angeles even open besides rowher? I think lynx gulch and most of the trails near santa clara divide including indian canyon are still closed
