Are you really happy with it? And did you use a LOC with it?

I have a Kenwood micro 4channel installed behind my radio and am happy with it.

beatsonic recommends against installing the amp with aftermarket speakers. it's right on the product page.

I'm happy with it. I don't know if a LOC was used or not. I installed all the new speakers myself. I let the car audio store install the amp and the powered sub that I already had. It sounds pretty good now. I still don't get much from the rear speakers but I'll probably change out the head unit when my warranty runs out to fix that.

not really. they state, "(If using new aftermarket speakers, keep the impedance at 4 ohms for non JBL Models. )"

it looks like their site has been entirely re-vamped since that post.

i thought it was an odd requirement as well, but stated what their site said. they also don't appear to be selling the 'micro amp'. it's now a 'encore amplifier'. i believe the micro amp was claimed to re-eq the speakers as well, which was where the 'don't upgrade' came from, as altering the speakers altered how the eq altered everything.
