Worst case, just jam this in the fender/door gap and give a few good tugs. :anonymous:

Just do like what other trucks do on youtube with stumps. Get a buddy and attach a chain to the fender. Then have him floor it.

It works with rolling fenders for the “stanced” look. :) I don’t see why it wouldn’t work.

I thought that was just to warm it all up so you don’t crack the paint.

That and makes the metal much easier to bend/fold, looks cleaner too.

Am I missing something? Why would you beat your vehicles sheet-metal with a hammer? Why not simply remove the area, fab up an appropriate patch and weld it in?

Not everyone has access to a welder. Also welding introduces heat, and care needs to be taken as to what’s in the other side. This is just much easier, much faster, and much cheaper. And arguably more effective

Noooo. Wrap the shirt around a piece of 2x4. Hit the 2x4 with the hammer, not the fender.

Just did mine and the bottom was brutal no real place to get a good swing. Cut the fender liner and waiting on the 3M seam sealer to arrive. Coated the metal is Zinc phosphate paint use on out drives, should be good. The paint only comes in this green color it's just primer.
