    Well its not really who im giving my money to. its more like if the product is good and worth the money. if they are as good as what i hear people say then ill wouldnt mind payin for it. :) lol.

    Novelty? Maybe, but so are Bose in many people's opinion. Bandwagoneers? also a possibility.

    I've listened to beats by dre and bose and wasn't overly impressed, could be related to the fact that it was Best Buys sample audio.

    If ya wanna spend the money I hear AKGs or Sennheisers are the way to go.

    Sennheisers are what I'm rocking, also have some older Shures that sound great. And if his name is on them, he's getting a cut.

    Do your research first, and bring your ipod/phone/iwhatever your going to listen too if you can. Also friends don't let friends buy retail- get it online and save some $$

    Interesting, I was just looking at the Dr Dred's at Sonic electronics.

    Noise cancelling over the ear, the only way to roll,,,yo.

    I have a set of Koss noise cancelers I picked up at Radio Snack on sale, there done. volume control is shot,,cuts out,,ect.

    Amazon had the ultimate ears triplefi 10s on sale for 90 bucks friday...that was a steal.

    From what I've read the beats have a bass-heavy "fun" sound to them, but if you're after a true audiophile sound, then you're better off with the usual brands.

    My next purchase will be the Denon AH-D2000 headphones. They seem to be all-around winners.
