Call Toyota of Morristown in NJ and ask for Rich Schaefer in the parts department. He can set you up.

If you don't like it why did you take the time to click on the thread, and then post in it? Just to add to your ridiculous post count?

This setup rides 100x better than the stupidly overpriced Toytec ULK. Do you post stupid comments about that too? At least be fair with the h8

I thought he was referring to the spacer lift for $1100. :notsure:

This Baja suspension kit would be the one I would get (or will eventually). Hopefully we will see it available without jumping through so many hoops to get it. Kind of like the black FJ TRD wheels I'm starting to see available for a good price without requiring a VIN #.

There are no hoops to jump through as of now. All baja parts are available if you call the right dealer.

Thanks Brandon, I'm subscribed to this thread, so once I get some cash together, I'll know where to order from.

My dealer here in Canada said they couldn't get it.

Called Rich at Morristown Toyota today who's going to be shipping me out the suspension this week!

    Can't wait!

    Me too!

Just need to decide if I want to AAL or just put in a 1-1.5' block in the back.

I think I'll just do the block for now and in a year or two (or whenever down the road) get a full replacement leaf pack...

Where do I buy a rear spacer block from?

    Just gettin started
I know someone that put a Icon Stage 4 or 5 kit on and he is Selling the Baja Front Coilovers and Rear Shocks too. Why Not just get the Off Road or SR5 and add the Icon's? Does it make sense at all? Maybe just wanted the wheels I guess.

Now THAT, was pretty fucked up. Didn't think anyone would defeat one of the main purposes of getting the Baja, but..anything is possible. Maybe just wanted the wheels, or the decal?

I do believe this Baja kit will work with a 5th leaf, because the rear shocks have extended travel.

Wheelers off-road, Downsouth motorsports, or Toytec should all have a block setup for the Taco

I've had a block for 3 years, and haven't had any issues with it.

That makes as much sense as buying the stage 4 icon kit and running 265's (which someone else did)

What about brake lines? Enough length there with a 1.5 block to not cause any problems?

I'm actually thinking of holding off on the rear block for a bit. Will re evaluate after the suspension install and new wheels/tires to see if I want the block or not...

Will be picking up my suspension on Friday!!!

I called TRD...of course they would not give any answer on if the Baja rears would be OK with a 1.5" rear lift. They would not say no either though. Toytec says yes. Wish I could get a straight freaking answer. The guy that did the Baja at Bilstein is out until 8/31. I want a 100% answer from somethat actuall knows. And not that guy with the red tacoma in his sig whose only job is to bash Bajas.

I have a 1.5 " block and it works fine. The 5160s are longer than the regular 5100s that most people use on TW.

Of course TRD won't tell you their stuff will work with a lift, too much liability.

look at the 5160 specs on the bilstein website, they are rated from 0-1" of lift just like the 5100s, but check out the side by side picture i posted. i doubt an extra .5" will make your truck explode.
