Really....I added the same AAL and removed the overloads as well.....no lean. What did you do to the rear to fix the lean?

    Pretend it is not there.

In all seriousness it does have a lean. It doesn't help to have the battery, driver, car seat, and fuel tank all on the same side. I think somehow the overloads helped mitigate it better as I didn't have the lean before removing them.

Yeah that's nuts....I had it on my last Tacoma which had a different setup in terms of a lift. It was taken care of with the 1/4 spacer. I quickly got a lot of knowledge about the "taco lean" and the different vibes you can and might get with different setups. On that same truck, I had a Dakar leaf pack on the rear and never messed with the overloads. It was a great truck but.....this is exactly why I love the baja/pro setup.

Don't know. I am not that OCD that I am going to measure the 4 corners unless I see something visually which I do not.

Lol, I can say you probably don't know too....after a buddy and I installed that lift on my last truck, we quickly realized it was sitting lower on the front drivers side. It was very apparent when we test drove it as well. We pulled it back into his garage which is on level ground and measured the 2 front fenders. Well, you know the rest. 1/4" may not be much however when your suspension is off by that much from one side to the other......you don't need to be ocd for it to be pretty noticeable.

last night i just installed 255/80/17's on fj rims on my stock sagging(camper) Baja suspension to see how it fits. very very minor rubbing at full clock.
after the holidays I plan on Dakar full leafs and maybe toyotec 1" front lift spacer for the shocks.

ah ok sounds like it might be one of those could go either way. I have the front set up I just haven't installed them yet, waiting to get wheels&tires and do it all at once. I think I will buy the 1/4 spacer and install them first and see how it looks, and then add the spacer if needed.

You'll be fine.....just like crash stated. The Baja/pro lift accounts for the added weight so you won't need it. The above conversation between him and I involved the rear.

has any one used the 1" toytec spacer on their Baja/pro? with Dakar packs?

I'm doing Dakar packs and wondering if I should add the spacer to the fronts. note: I do have a camper, and keep my ice chest back there as far as weight goes.(which levels my stocks springs, which makes it slightly nose up).

    thanks.

On my previous truck I had a set of those leaf packs on the rear. I did not have he Baja/Pro suspension on that truck however it was lifted 3" in front (so basically the same) that being said, if you are adding a Dakar leaf pack, I would highly recommend that you add the toytec spacer to the front coilovers. Otherwise, you'll have too much of a rake. Also, just to be on the safe side, I was told once hit reach 3" lift on the rear strongly consider extending your brake lines.

Please let us know what you think of the spacers once installed, and if you also do a diff drop, and/or tubular upper control arms. I have a pair of Wheeler's single AALs added to my factory springs. They advertised them as 1.5", but after two months -including almost one month carrying 300 extra pounds to help them settle - the lift is 2.5". I'm pretty pissed about it, and Wheeler's failed at making things right, but that's another post. Anyway, I didn't plan to add more lift to the front, but now I either have to do that or pull the AALs. I'm undecided at this point, so your review of the Toytech spacers would be very helpful.

    With the Baja/Pro lift:

You won't need a diff drop....even if you add the toytec front spacer.

You won't need to run ucs's ......as these are not needed until you reach 3" and with the spacers you are only at 2.75

Paulk, maybe try removing your overload leaf to help lower it a little.

I have the ToyTec 1" coil seat spacer installed on my 2012 TX Baja. It allowed me to wrap my beefy 285 Mickey Thompson Baja ATZ P3's around the TX Baja TRD (grey) wheels. I did have to do some trimming of the front plastic wheel well and removed the mudguards. Oh, and I installed the ToyTec single AAL because my rear was beginning to sag/swat. After the install, it's leveled (maybe a slight rake, but I like it). I also added 1.25" wheel spacers for a wider stance and some better clearance.

As for the ride, I actually had a 2014 Prerunner that I began to mod. I went cheap with the 2014 Prerunner. I installed the 3" Pro Comp leveling lift kit to sit on some 285's and 17x9 Pro Comp Vertigo series 40 wheels. In comparison, my current 2012 TX Baja is much smoother and has better flex/travel. Whether its the speed bumps or curbs in the malls or taking it offroad on this beautiful island of Oahu, my 2012 TX Baja is exactly what I want (for now). Once the TRD/Bilstein suspension system needs replacing...I'll see what's out there...but all signs point to Kings with Total Chaos long travel. LOL.

As @JuanitoBunito said, no need for aftermarket UCA's since the lift is not more than 3". Should be around 2.75".

I added the AALs to increase cargo capacity. My Baja sat dead-level with the factory springs, but would sag under even small loads. Removal of the overload leafs would reduce carrying capacity and I don't want to do that. The Wheeler's AALs should have given 1.5 " in the rear, which would almost perfectly match the non-baja OR rake, and fixed my load issue, but their product does not perfom as advertised.

UCA are not completely necessary under 3" of lift, but my buddy's 2013 DCSB is lifted 2.5" in the front via OME springs and shocks, and it wanders noticeably at speeds over 40-50 mph.

The need for a diff drop is a matter of opinion. Half the people you ask will say it's not necessary, and the other half will insist that it is. If I do the Toytech front spacers, I'll try it without the diff drop first, and add one later if needed.

I said uca's were not needed until 3".....we are on the same page there. I can tell ya I've had 4 tacomas lifted 4 different ways with 4 completely different lift kits. This is why I love the Baja/Pro kit the best of the 4. No vibes no sqeeks, no problems. Toyota engineerd for Toyota trucks. It's that simple. We can go round and round about what you need. All I can say is through my experience.....with this lift you won't need it. Or slap one, shit it's your truck do what you feel is right.
