    The Carolina squat is confusing.

Last year in may, I was in the outer Banks NC for the week with some friends, we had a house out on the 4x4 beach (fantastic BTW, if you haven't done it, do it) and we yanked at least 3 big diesel trucks out of sand holes created by them just mashing the pedal everywhere, they were all "squatted".

The sand down there gets really deep in some spots, it's really fun, but you have to be smart so you don't get swallowed up. I haven't been able to make a trip in the taco yet though :/

You know I'm down whenever. As long as Hatteras is involved. I stay away from 12 north as much as possible.

Also, if anyone is interested, this Sunday the 12th, I'm heading to Harrisonburg to go run the flagpole trail with two of my Jeep friends. If anyone wants to tag along, they're more than welcome to. We're trying to leave from the Sheetz in opal, at the 29/17 intersection by 8AM!

Just a quick day trip to see what the new truck needs.

In 2 weeks there's a pretty big trip planned up there with a bunch of taco world peeps. I think the list is up over 30 trucks last I looked.

Great offer I'll sadly have to decline. My daughter is home from college and leaving that afternoon so I'll be here with her.

Sweet. As of now, I'll be there Saturday only just for wheeling. Probably won't camp. But things may change.

As far as your trip this Sunday, I can't say for sure I'd be able to make it, but let me talk to my friend and see if he'd be down for a quick trip. If y'all are leaving Sheetz at 8, you should be in Harrisonburg by or around 10. If that's the case, we could leave here around 7:30 and be there around the same time. If it ends up working out, I'll shoot you a PM.

I plan to do the same for the big trip. Just go Saturday for the wheeling portion, then come home.

Looks completely practical to me. Think about how easy it is to unload after atrip to Home Depot or the Pick a Part. Drop the tailgate, reverse a little, hit the brakes and voilá, everything slides right out. Easy peasy.

That should be standard issue to everyone that registers

    Must be some friend

Haha. I guess I should check the forum more often instead of just this thread. I had know idea there is another flagpole trip in the works. I've made other plans for that weekend, but the last trip was fun.

Just one of those friends that you know you're going to have for a lifetime. He moved to Florida years ago, and we still manage to see each other every year or two. Missed a few of his birthdays since he moved, but I figured I couldn't miss his 40th.

Ha the thread finally made a hundred pages last night. It doesn't make any difference but it was kinda dead on here for a litte while I'm just glad to see it being alittle more active.
