well for those of you who don't know me i'll introduce myself and try to keep it brief. i'll be 50 this year, i'm a veteran, been married going on 30 years , have 2 daughters, and have been a bodyman/ painter/ welder/ fabricator for damn near 30 years. hunting and compeyiyive archery have always been my passion, and i enjoy classic cars

i had a jeep that i used to off road and did alot of truck shows with, then kids happened and priorities shifted. now the kids are pretty much gone and i needed a new truck and here we are. so now the camaro sits and i play with the truck all the time

hopefully we can turn this into something fun and be active with some meets and do some off roading

I don't have any pics, but my first Toyota was a 79 pickup 4x4(so awesome) new England winter's and being in high school killed it:( I had a jeep ,suburban, and s10 to keep my 4wd fix them went and got a girlfriend and ended up with a jetta

    IMG_20151012_121135_654.jpg
After that I came back with a new truck and new girl(married this one)
And split my time between teaching in Fairfax and kayaking and helping run the Va outdoor center in Fredericksburg.

One or two things modded... Check out the build thread
Well, I guess it's my turn. Had several trucks over the years. Started with 500 rwhp 65 chevy stepside that my dad built, then a 97 ranger, 00 gmc, then I finally got in to a toyota. Started with this 08 taco,
Then got married and had a kid on the way so I had to upsize, figured might as well go 4wd while I was at it. So I traded in and got this.

Found out quickly that I needed to mod it to better haul groceries and the family so now it looks like this.

That kind of sums it up for me...

oops sorry! next sumer when they start up we will have to get together on fridays theres a vinyard off rte3 Old House Vineyareds thet has live music out on the lawn for free. you can bring a picnic dinner and chairs and chill out and listen to music. plus they have wine tastings and they started a new part where they make their own vodka, tequila, and several rums they do tastings for them also. down 522 there's also the only legal distillery
