    I wouldn't personally do the diff drop, the point of the lift is to gain ground clearance. if you drop it you'll lose bout 1'' of GC

    I’ve done a little reading and I think most first gens are able to reinstall the skid plates at the same spot after the diff drop and I’d really like to do however much I can to help the cv angles.

    I’ve read that the 1st gens get more benefit out of the diff drops than other gens.

    It’s a nice looking truck and I was gonna inspect a little more (like lift and tires) but I didn’t wanna be that guy. And I really like the mesh grill with the led bar.

    IMHO, the Diff Drop is a good idea because it takes some of the angle off of the CV joints in the front axle shafts and saves on wear and tear.

    Went to Walmart and picked up a pack of Mr. Clean Magic Erasers for a little over $2.00. Went to town on my fender flares because they were pretty faded after 16 years of sun. I'm really pleased with the outcome.

    Also, is anyone else experiencing a swarm of ladybugs? They're beginning to cover the whole backside of my house and I found about 15 on/in my truck after school.

    Been a bit quite on here for a while. Hope everyone is good and having some fun. Looks like the weather is about to start getting crappy outside for a while, but that shouldn't stop us!

    If anyone is up for a meetup, there is a local brewery having live music on Saturday, 18 Nov, starting at 8pm. I've always wanted to check it out anyway, so what better way than with some of you guys! They serve food and other drinks too (@HSmith_11) , so if drinking ain't your thing, no worries. It's called 6 Bears & a Goat, 1140 International Pkwy, off Warrenton Rd / Rte 17. It will probably be a little dark to check out each other's truck, but that shouldn't be too big an issue.
