    Not true, Mike doesn't know what he's talking about :D

    MD side stays open but they will rope off sections for birds. VA side gets shut down to about a mile section of beach and if they find a nesting bird on that, then it gets shut down also and the only beach left to drove on is for fisherman only.

    Anybody doing runs this weekend? I saw some guys from the NOVA group are doing a Peters Mill run, but I’ve heard that trail is basically a dirt road that hasn’t been maintained and you can run it in 2wd. With the rain we have been getting it might be still be fun.

    Let me know if anybody knows of something else planned though

    The ticket FINALLY processed in the Spotsylvania county court system and the fine is 157. Also my command has had a bunch of guys pop on a drug test recently so they dont care about me haha

    Peters mill is fun in that you can blast through it at a good pace regardless of suspension set up. I am looking to take my girl there soon as she is looking to secure an xterra in the next couple of weeks. Flagpole is also a solid spot that is pretty close to Petersmill so you can hit both in one day very easily.

    Never been to Portsmouth Island, but that sounds pretty cool. Yea man flagpole is a pretty chill spot with a few different trails to try out. Im sure you will enjoy it when you roll out that way.

    Few pictures from out Portsmouth island trip this past weekend. It was a blast being able to drive and camp on the beach. How ever if anyone is interested in doing this trip stay on the south side of the island and unless you have a snorkel do not take the water road!
