this weekend could work, maybe sunday. Saturday work all day, unless it gets slow with the weather. Next Tue I'm off all day as well. That was the best description of the coils and shocks I've gotten here. Thank you for your help.

Chief. What springs do they provide with their 5100 kit?
    Did you consider the 6112's?

i think some went back over to the nova thread to chat. oh wel their loss. i was reading what you posted earlier about bumpers and i'm like you i'd like to keep the weight down. i've been thinking when i strike it rich and decide to buy a bumper going with aluminum myself. according to what i've been told they're great but aluminum skids not always so great. with the 4 cylinder i just don't want to pack a bunch of weight on. i'm thinking next on the list will be sliders and an lce long tube header

I know it isn't cheap but have you thought about gears? That will help that little 4 banger out. Ive had a few Toyota pickups with the 22re so I know what underpowered feels like.

If my time off from work cashes out the way i think it will in February i should be able to afford the front bumper. I'd like to do a dual swing out rear bumper, but that'll probably wait a little longer

Yeah. The 6112's are similar to the Baja shocks. They, with the 650 lb (I think they're 650s )Eibach coils, ride absolutely sweet on the Tacoma

if i do gears i'm doing lockers now your around 5g's not unless i sell the camaro. i'm going to have to be strategic about this build and take my time. the header is really supposed to help on the low end so we'll see. i'd love to get it readt for rousch creek. i may not even do a bumper i may come up with some other option at this point it's one little step at a time

True, gears and locker =$$$, headers will help. I ran LC engineering parts on my previous trucks. They make quality products. Not sure if they make much for 2nd gen tacos though. I need armor before I even think about going to Rausch, all I have is sliders.

I vouch for 5125's for the rear. Ride fine with OME springs

shit i don't even have sliders. the little motor is turning these heavy assed tires just fine for now but add too much weight and idk. lce makes a long tube header for the 2.7 that is a direct bolt in and really increases low end torque. tooter did a dyno comparison only add on was the header and a warm air intake and had a 26% gain in power. so i think i know what i'm asking for for christmas. and working on a plan for sliders
