    Folks-
Brand new here. To make the most out of my 5 ft bed 2025 Tacoma for work use, I’m thinking:

    -“decked”system
-Secure camper shell so I can store toolboxes on top of the decked system
-ladder rack on top of this
-such a configuration that auto car washes would be happy with

any suggestions would be greatly appreciated

You might have to research ladder racks and compatibility with robo washes. Sounds ripe for disaster but I don’t know. Might want to chat with some car wash owners.

The "car wash" part of the title drew me here. I've been ruminating over various roof rack and bed rack systems, but then car wash hit me. The "cage" style bed rack, Prinsu, Sherpa, Cali etc, the crossbars makes washing the roof quite challenging. Then, we don't have touchless carwash here in Westchester NY, I use the one on Tarrytown road in White Plains, 1950s style, but it has roller brushes. I don't know if the brush will dislodge the cage. I just bought a pair of minimalist OEM style, swing around bars, always like those on 3rd gen and Subaru, so, these will do for now. I may just save up to buy a T slot bed cover, and then utility bed racks to put on the T slots. Things can get expensive real fast. I will have to live with the stock tire and wheels for a while.

Thanks for all the help. I'm thinking that I might not be able to use a auto wash with a rack, unless it is touchless...
