I'm sure there are threads that deal with this issue but I don't have the time to do the searching. I have a stock 2019 TRD OFF ROAD Access Cab with the OEM Goodyear tires (that will be replaced soon). I only do highway driving. I've noticed that the bed is no longer aligned with the cab evenly. Pictures show that the gap on the driver's side is a little over 1". Passenger side gap is 11/16". Is this something that is easily corrected by loosening the bed bolts and nudging things? Any help/advice would be appreciated.

Bed could be misaligned, or the cab (or both). The cab bushings are known to fail on these trucks. Can't know exactly what to look at with just these 2 pics though.

This is really just a visual issue. Not a structural issue. You can only look at one side of the truck at a time. I wouldn't worry about it.

It’s probably just the bed I would start with loosening the T55 torx bolts and shift it in place.

If he does some rough surface driving the bed could flex into the cab on the close side. The best bet would be to just loosen the torx bolts and realign it. It’s a pretty easy fix.

Get a Torx bit and a breaker bar and in 10 minutes you can adjust it yourself.

    No collision of any kind.

Thanks to everyone for the response. I was hoping it would be a simple fix.

I'm having the same thing with my 2014 Tacoma Access Cab 4x4 that I just got yesterday! She's my first Taco :)

The bed sticks out by about an inch on the drivers side, but pretty close to flush on the passenger side. Really outing myself as a newbie here, but are the Torx55 bed bolts the 6 total bolts that are lining each side of the truck bed? So I'd just loosen them a little, straighten out the bed, and then retighten those? Is there a owner's repair manual somewhere that shows diagrams of the components of the truck?

I noticed a couple things that I'm wondering if it could be from this bed being misaligned. Theres a little bit of a a rumble/shaking when I press the brakes moving at a faster speed like on the freeway, but no shaking present when its lower speeds (like <60mph). When it happens I just ease off the brakes a tiny bit and then I can press the brakes again normally without any shaking. Also noticed a little bit of a squeak here and there. Cant tell if I'm being paranoid and if its coming from the brakes or if its the bed moving side to side

Just loosen the six T55 torx bolts and gently shift the bed to align it. As far as the shake you probably need new rotors and brake pads.
