So I just got my first Tacoma on Saturday (2014 Access Cab 4WD) and am pretty newer at working on cars.

Seems like the bed shifting a little left or right is a pretty common (and not so serious) issue where the truck bed becomes unaligned with the cab and the simple solution would be to loosen the 6 T-55 bolts that are lining each side of the truck bed and then slightly pushing and pulling the bed until its more aligned.

I’m having a hard time finding the torque specifications for re-tightening the bolts after I straighten out the bed. Does anybody have those specs to share? Another newbie mechanic question I have is in general, is it not that serious to retighten to specific torque, but rather to just make sure it’s tight? Or should things always be tightened to factory specs?
