bed bars with tonneau cover

I really want to add the cali raised overland bed bars with molle panels to my 22 tacoma, but i want a tonneau cover as well, is there anyone out there that has a set up like this? i read about possible universal adapters but it’s either a roll tonneau cover or retractable one i’d need to use. i’m new to the truck world so i didn’t do my research and bought a tri fold cover that i’ll most likely need to sell

 

For most setups I've seen pictures of people use roll up or soft fold covers for tonneaus under bed bars if you want to be able to open it up with the bars still on. Hard covers can still fit under some bar setups as long as the brackets are set up to go under the edges, you just won't be able to fold the tonneau up.

However, the bars you linked to me don't look like they'd work with a tonneau at all because they sit inboard of the bedside caps, where a tonneau would need to mount. I can't think of any tonneau I've seen that would work with those bars. I'd look for a bed rack with mount brackets designed to hut the bedside top and seat under the edges of a tonneau. Or check out a Diamonback tonneau, which has mount points and racks that mount to the tonneau itself.
