I have no idea how to properly attach pictures, this is the best I figured out to date, hopefully the pictures show up. Weird I've attached pictures on forums over the past 20 years and now this is not working as I would suppose it would.

Wife and kids went south 7 days ago which gave me time to do some things for me :)

needed some sort of box in the bed to accommodate some work gear.

3/4" 4x8 maple plywood. cut out 6' x 31" top + 3 dividing walls. Sidewalls that touch bottom are spaced to fit in the groves in the bed floor.

corner bracing throughout fastened with 1" deck screws in plug cutter holes.

2' x 31" storage cubby up front with top and side access

Lots of work to do to her yet, just getting started. Just got the box on to cover things up and needed proper bed clamps.

not hardly cleaned up or painted yes, just needed solid cap clamps

a welded tab holds the clamp in a channel on bottom. Another tab on top provides a pressure point tight to the cap wall which is over the flat on the bed rail for solid downward pressure. Top plate is floating until it is clamped.

now that the cap is solid I'll get the rear window latching properly, get those hydraulic arms replaced and get the light wired up.
