    Hi everyone

I am doing some test fitting of my track motorcycle, generator, tool box and so on in my 2017 TRD off road with the 6 foot box.

I am using the built-in steel mounting points to strap the motorcycle.

My question is, will the OEM bed cleats be strong enough to hold a 150 pound generator and 100 pound tool box in place via ratchet straps?

I read the cleats working load is 100ish pounds each but not sure how that translates to just holding these items in place so they don't move around.

Do you think I will be good to go or is there a better option.

My last truck was an F150 with many mounting points so these rail mounted bed cleats are new to me.

    Thanks for the help.

I have used the oem bed cleats to tie down with rachet straps heavy metal furniture weighing easily 200 pound+ with no problems.
